Ceremony & Reception
We are so pleased to celebrate our nuptials at the beautiful
Blackacre State Nature Preserve and Historic Homestead
Saturday, May fifteenth, two thousand and ten
at 2 o'clock in the afternoon
3200 Tucker Station Road
Louisville, KY
Immediately following the ceremony, please join us across the barn for a proper feast, along with all the merriment and rigmarole that goes along with getting hitched.
Things you should know:
- The ceremony will be held outdoors, rain or shine.
- Wear whatever you'd like. Whether you choose to dress fancy or casual, keep in mind that we will be outdoors, in the presence of barnyard animals.
- During your visit, we encourage you to take a hike, visit the pond, pet the goats or check out the historic buildings on the grounds. Blackacre is really a fun place. Evidence of this can be found here and here.
- For dinner, we won't try to pull the old cheese plate and meatball on a toothpick trick. We'll be having a delicious meal prepared by Mayan Cafe and cupcakes from our favorite dessert shop, Cake Flour. Get stoked about it and come hungry!
